Rovertech Delivers First Ukrainian Fire Robot “Zmiy” to Emergency Services Units

On July 5, Rovertech delivered a unique product of its own production to units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine — the first domestic fire robotic complex, “Zmiy.” The handover took place on a charitable basis as part of the corporate program supporting Ukrainian rescue services.

“Zmiy” is an innovative wheeled drone specifically designed for operation in high-risk zones. The complex is equipped with a powerful fire nozzle capable of delivering water or foam, allowing for effective remote firefighting. With a payload capacity of over 500 kg and trailer compatibility, the robot can perform a wide range of tasks — from extinguishing fires to transporting equipment in conditions dangerous for humans.

Before putting it into operation, Rovertech specialists conducted comprehensive training for rescuers and supervised the robot’s testing under real conditions. The complex’s high mobility and maneuverability were particularly noted during operations in mined territories and near warehouses with explosive materials.

“We are proud that our engineering solutions contribute to the safety of Ukrainian rescuers. ‘Zmiy’ is the result of many months of work by our team, and we are confident it will become a reliable assistant for the State Emergency Service in the most challenging situations,” commented Bohdan Zmiy, one of the founders of Rovertech company.

The first combat missions of the “Zmiy” robotic complex are planned to be conducted in Dnipro, where State Emergency Service units will undergo final testing under real-use conditions.

The delivery of the robotic complex takes place within the framework of Rovertech’s strategic partnership with Ukrainian state services and demonstrates the potential of domestic technologies in the field of safety and rescue operations.
