GRCS Zmiy Successfully Passed the Initial Military Tests with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade

Rovertech Company (LLC “Rovertech”) completes initial field tests of its rotor-type mine-clearing drone GRCS “Zmiy” (Zmiy). In collaboration with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade (SAB), tests were conducted at a training ground with military experts evaluating the effectiveness of “Zmiy” on various types of mines, including TM-62 anti-tank mines, PMN-2, PMN-4, PMF anti-personnel mines, and OZM-72 and MON tripwire mines.

Battlefield Efficiency

The GRCS “Zmiy” stands out for its compactness and exceptional durability. It can neutralize up to two anti-tank mines while remaining operational. After that, it only requires a shaft replacement for continued use. The drone’s deployment time is just 5 minutes, allowing for swift and safe preparation for assault operations. Remote control from a distance of up to 1000 meters ensures operator safety, and its dimensions, similar to a mid-sized SUV, enable it to work in hard-to-reach places. The drone clears a path 1.35 meters wide.

Advantages of GRCS “Zmiy”

The “Zmiy” is designed to pave the way for assault brigades, effectively breaking through enemy defense lines. It can also be used for humanitarian demining, aiding in the restoration of territories. Its modular design simplifies repairs and maintenance, and its compact size makes it less noticeable to the enemy.

Following the tests, the GRCS “Zmiy” is ready for codification, certification, and further implementation in combat conditions.
